(2,016 posts)I read the article, and I agree with some of what Fetterman said, particularly the part about Democrats becoming the "metaphorical car alarm that everyone ignores." I'm sorry, but he is right. Democrats need to find a better way of fighting back from a position of strength versus petulance.
Jasmine Crockett knows how to do it. I'm not sure how to articulate the difference, but she comes off as a person in a position of power, like a mom telling a child throwing a temper tantrum to "go to your room." Most Democrats come off as the opposite. Trump is telling them to "go to their room," and Democrats are whining about Trump "being mean" all while walking toward their room. I don't know if that makes sense.
All of that being said, Fetterman should have kept his complaints quiet and taken those complaints to the leaders of the Democratic Party and not the press. Don't air your dirty laundry, as they say.
I agree Fetterman needs to be primaried as he's too erratic.
