I just keep telling myself that This, too, shall pass. One benefit of getting older is that youve probably been there, done that several times over. Im fortunate to be in a place where I dont have to worry about immediate financial devastation, but Ive been there before.
Trump is probably the biggest threat to our country that weve ever faced, but he and Musk are so outrageous and incompetent that I feel confident that they are destined to fail. The turning point will probably come when the MAGAts are personally affected financially and they rebel, perhaps violently. Or the military is given an order that as patriots they cant obey. I truly believe that this will happen in the not far distant future. It keeps me going.

I turn off the 'puter and TV and turn down the lights. Then I snuggle on the couch with my kitty cat.
