171. Bull

As a former infantryman who fought in combat, let me tell you, you are sorely mistaken. Many many sick but brave veterans are out there and perfectly willing to take you on with a gun or a knife, or any other way. I own guns passed down by my father who himself was a gun nut and who was a brave man. I keep these guns but I have never considered buying any more. While I certainly am not a gun nut, I know many veterans who hunt with guns and have other guns for family protection as well. These gun nuts are veterans of combat in Korea, Vietnam, the PersianGulf, and Afghanistan/and or Iraq. Some are former Army, some marines, some navy seals, but they are gun nuts.
You make a big mistake when you use a broad brush to portray a big patriotic bunch as pussies. Maybe you have too high an opinion of yourself. My unit's motto was Deeds Not Words and we should all keep that in mind when characterizing others and their bravery.
I am not a gun nut and I fervently believe we need to implement much more control of gun. I disagree with both concealed carry and open display. I disagree with anything that has any ability to fire over 6 rounds without reload in the hands of a civilian.
Soyou see that although I sympathize with yours statement about armchair warriors and especially their views on gun rights, Iresent you applying the term pussy to so many that have fought bravely.
Lets not let anger or passion distort judgement. Lets work for regulation of guns that can be agreed on.
