... would behave that way either, but my observations of them have been under more tranquil times. I'm not really sure how far they'd go to support their orange cult leader.

My so-called evangelical Christian sister is not behaving very Christ-like lately. It's becoming more obvious to me that social norms (as she perceives them) are more important than any gospels from the Bible. And she's way more concerned about WORLDLY agendas than a heavenly afterlife, much more now than ever in the past.
She's even a full-blown follower of the "prosperity gospel" now, with a greater likelihood of quoting Old Testament passages to argue that the most wealthy are the most Godly, and thus favored by God. Which obviously contradicts the gospels of Jesus Christ... the supposed basis of Christianity!
