Joe Gray, by Shirley Rousseau Murphy. Joe and the other "special" cats can talk to certain humans. They solve crimes.
The Cat Who series by Liiian Jackson Braun - great series.
The Melanie Travis series by Laurien Berenson. Melanie is all wrapped up in showing Standard Poodles and she is always tripping over a body. LOL
Garden Spells -- about the Waverly family, a quirky, but very nice family helping neighbors and solving crimes, by Sarah Addison Allen.
The Secret Book & Scone Society by Ellery Adams.
The Sisterhood books by Fern Michaels.
So so so many great ones out there.
