171. At this point, I think we have lost the plot

I think too much of our energy is spent trying to go after a few "independent" voters in swing states who we all known damn well are republicans who vote republican every single time. Our problem in the democratic party is turnout. Republican voters do a great job of showing up to vote. We do a terrible job of showing up to vote. And if we have a candidate up there who is pandering to right wing personalities I know I am not even going to show up to vote for him. This is totally different from Pete, who goes on Fox (among other places) to take his message to voters where they are, not bring the right wing message to the left.

I'm personally disappointed because I had been somewhat excited to consider Newsom in my top 3, but now he's on my not voting for him list.
