110. I am an Independent that refuses to join the Democratic party. Should I go away?

I'm a stronger defender of democracy than many with that big "D" after their name, as is pointed out here regularly. The appeasers, the cowards, the "Vichy Dems". I have more of a spine than many "D" members.

Such talk is why so many avoid the Democrats, who often talk one way and act another. How many of these wonderful Democrats are voting to help Trump? In a time when we need all hands on deck, how many are excusing their votes? How many are telling us, once again, that we have to be patient, that we have to go along to get along? That X, Y and Z have to wait their turn? Ask some of the black and gay members how that feels?

This is not the time for considered thought and no action. We are losing this country. Not for a couple of years (just wait for the mid-terms!), but for decades. DECADES!

But, whatever. let's put down Bernie Sanders, as usual here. He cares more for this country than some, but he's not a Democrat! The horror.
