Require liability insurance for gun ownership [View all]
Everyone who owns a car is required to have liability insurance for the car. Everyone who drives a car is required to have a license. If gun owners were required to do the same that would go a long way toward regulating and controlling gun ownership. The insurance companies would of course charge more for more dangerous guns and take into consideration criminal background.
The insurance companies have no business in health care but could do a good business in gun liability.
