The TÜV SÜD testing authority and the KBA vehicle licensing authority said that such a test does not exist.
They added that tests applied uniformly to all vehicles, irrespective of source manufacturing.
A TÜV SÜD spokesman said tests of this kind were in fact used for windshields, with the aim of testing whether sharp shards were created when they broke on impact.

Mango Jebus made a similar comment in 2018 when he claimed Japanese regulations required a bowling ball test.
