I cannot remember! Something about them being moochers, union thugs, lazy... They all attempted to sacrifice themselves for these children. I would wager that very few of those corrupt politicians would do the same! My daughter was a 2nd grade teacher before having a son with Downs Syndrome. Now she stays home. She was paid so little that her quitting did not change the finances much since she no longer paid a baby sitter for 2 children. She worked 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., plus extra when grading more tests, or updating lesson plans, or doing something special for the class. She paid out of pocket for most of her teaching materials b/c Texas is a joke for education. They are making Public Education so bad, parents will want their damn Charter schools and voucher crap. The greedy bastards only want to think about their own children and to hell with the rest! I am sick of this corrupt country. The next time I hear about the "American Exceptionalism" I think I will puke! The only things we excell in are greed, selfishness, and corruption!
