'Releasing wrongly deported man "preposterous," El Salvadoran president says' [View all]

'El Salvador President Nayib Bukele said Monday he can't return a mistakenly deported Maryland resident and Salvadorian national to the U.S.

Why it matters: The U.S. government accused Kilmar Abrego Garcia of being a member of MS-13, but he has not been convicted of gang-related crimes. The Supreme Court ordered the Trump administration to facilitate his return.

"The question is preposterous," Bukele said during a press conference with President Trump. "How can I smuggle a terrorist into the United States? I don't have the power to return him to the United States."
Bukele also said he would not release him into El Salvador.

Zoom in: Attorney General Pam Bondi said it was up to El Salvador to return Abrego Garcia.

"If they wanted to return him, we would facilitate it," she said, "meaning provide a plane."

My words: I think they killed him. May these monsters rot in hell, but first let them face justice in the International Criminal Courts in the Hague. RESIST.
EVERYONE WHO VOTED FOR TRUMP OWNS THIS.
