before he was elected; now they just go down on Trump. They are weak, opportunistic men who quickly realized that their presidential aspirations were hopeless but that they could be part of the power structure by attaching themselves to Trump like remoras. Hitler needed Goebbels and Himmler and Göring, and Trump needs his Rubio and Graham and Nutlick and the rest of the climbers and cowards and mediocrities that fill out his kakistocracy.
