...perhaps the first order, which was created somewhat independent of the Papacy. They are well-known as a teaching order, particularly when it comes to higher education (e.g. Georgetown, Boston College). Because of their general openness to inquiry and heterodox thinking, the Jesuits are loathed by the "radtrad" far-right of the Church (e.g. the EWTN network).
