are those who, like the Pharisees, present themselves as "men of God" teachers who hurt any of their flock.
Plenty has been written about false teachers in the Bible. When they believe themselves more than scripture, they sin, and their pride leads others to sin and suffering, not love and peace. Jesus warned about them.

Matthew (the tax collector) 7:15 quotes Jesus's warning about them: Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. You shall know them by their fruits.
