11. Our agenda doesn't matter if "who we are speaks louder" than it does.

Our core economic agenda is good, imo. I think trust is the key word in the above OP. Without trust, no matter what we say, no matter what we plan, we'll get nowhere.

We need to build trust. Discipline ourselves. Be intelligent, mature, and fair. Cred makes clout.

We need to not destroy trust. Be feeling, but don't be emotionally self-indulgent. Be inclusive but on guard concerning the company you keep.

Trust gets us in the door. I think Biden did all the right things with industrial policy and infrastructure. Harris said all the right things during the campaign. It wasn't enough. We need to think hard about what it means to have cred.
