Trump's tariffs are not going to work on China and more importantly, the US dollar's exorbitant privilege is going to diminish too. The discussion ends with Sachs describing the crazy talk circulating in Washington about a war over Taiwan which the US would inevitably lose, and which could lead to global annihilation.
