This was attributed to Trump as a quote when confronted with the OBVIOUS conflict of interest and BRIBE that a $400M jet to 'replace' Air Force One represents. In which, the Tangerine Insane Clown President impunges Sam Snead (former professional golf legend) by misrepesenting a quote to mean that accepting bribes in office is no different than not taking a 3-foot putt in a non-tournament round of golf or match play...

"He had a motto, ‘When they give you a putt, you say thank you very much. You pick it up and walk to the next hole.’ A lot of people are stupid. They say no, no, I insist on putting it. Then they putt it, they miss it. Then their partner gets angry at them.”

“You know what? Remember that, Sam Snead, when he gives you a putt, you pick it up and say thank you very much.”

Golfing analogies that involve "gimme" putts are his entire pathetic worldview and life in a nutshell.

He is telling the world, "I am available for bribes, just make an offer", and to justify it, he is referencing the act of NOT competing in a sport where there is no referee and the players self-police themselves on their honor - a concept so foreign to that tub of shit in a bad suit and worse make-up, that he cannot conceive of why there is a difference between a CONCEDED putt in match play and a "gimme" in stroke play or skins or wagering with people in a round of golf. Then he conflates it with Sam Snead to try and steal credibility from the other, unrelated and non-germaine accomplishments of one of golf's legends... to somehow try to reflect better on him.

EVERYTHING - absolutely EVERYTHING - in that douche nozzle's world is a pathetic tit-for-tat exchange and influence peddling. It is like watching an old-time 3-card Monte scammer whose lost his sleight of hand and tricks but wants everyone to believe he is just as slippery and greasy as always. He is the breathing embodiment of corruption and graft on am unimaginable scale when you have ANY sense of decency or propietity.

The man makes me want to crucify kittens if it would make him go away even a nanosecond faster than his impending coronary attack that will (hopefully) attack with alacrity anon! For fuck's sake universe, isn't this clown's karmic account empty YET?!?!?!?
