I just weaved a bit of "Born in the U.S.A." into my work. I couldn't believe back then it was some people's introduction to him. Can't believe how some were calling him a "sellout" back then either. So many cynics.

I was just coming off a lunch with a friend who just got laid off by a certain newspaper whose publisher (and former neighbor of mine) refused to let his paper endorse in a certain recent presidential election. That publisher just happened to be in Saudi Arabia around the same time as a certain rapist. I thought that things just keep getting worse and the people with the most money are all becoming cowards.

My comments on Bruce were on the footheels of finding all that out. So when he comes back stateside I hope he continues to speak with the same intensity.
