This is what you get when you bend over backward to deal with the Repukes: Your back broken.

The most important person in the room, the person who is calling the shots in these negotiations is...John Boehner. He just went on national TV and showed every goddamned American that it doesn't matter that Obama won, or that he won by 5+ million votes: He (Boehner) is still in charge.

You know who's going to keep John Boehner in the driver's seat? Barack Obama, that's who.

He is going to continue negotiating with this fuckface, going to continue to offer up the most core things we as a party hold dear and worth protecting- all to possibly placate this absolute megalomaniac.

Fuck that.

And you know why Boehner is doing this? Because he thinks there's probably a chance that President Obama will do what he wants.

Will he? Is there some part of the Democratic base which hasn't had twine wrapped around its throat that needs to?

What fucking looony insanity. This is the most absurd thing. Fistfights in the Senate floor would be more dignified than watching this led-by-the-nose kowtow play out.
