First on LateNighter: Jimmy Kimmel was set to begin a week of new episodes today after taking last week off, but now tonight’s taping of Jimmy Kimmel Live! has been cancelled.

Seth Rogen, whose Apple TV+ series The Studio releases its season finale on Wednesday, was scheduled to be Kimmel’s guest tonight, along with CNN anchor Jake Tapper and singer-songwriter Kali Uchis. ....

The network didn’t offer details on why Kimmel’s taping was cancelled, but the host revealed last week that his daughter was due with her first child. Kimmel shared the news of the expectancy in a video made for the ABC upfronts last week, in which he offered to sell the naming rights to his first grandchild. ....
