(9,153 posts)55. Thanks for the tip and I have done the filtration
before and the water tasted better but where I am is a chemicals situation and the various filters get the metals etc. but are less effective at some of these chemicals. PCB's and a long list of others from soup to nuts. Our public water intake in Lake Michigan is a short distance away from where a toxic waste dump poured stuff into the lake, now in the sediments, and also dumped thousands of gallons of toxic materials into open pits they dug and then covered them over. The stuff eventually oozed out of the bluff of the lake and into the water/sediments which added to what had already been dumped.
I've lived in this metro area for convenience but have always wanted to move back to the more rural area/towns.

Seems like prices of soda in cans shot up after Trump ordered aluminum tariffs.

In our local meat veggie produce shop the majority of fresh items are imported.
