40. I don't feel bad for Hawley, I feel bad for Missourians

Hawley voted last year to cut FEMA funding so I call BS he wants FEMA. This reminds me he keeps saying they shouldn’t cut Medicaid.

The voters expanded Medicaid a few years ago in Missouri via a constitutional amendment and that means if federal funds are cut to Medicaid then the state will be on the hook to make up the difference.

Repubs in Missouri recently got rid of the Capital Gains state tax which obviously helps wealthier folks. Repub’s next goal is to remove the state income tax. They don’t seem to care about their people, they care about being able to push through their regressive tax cuts.

I watch how Repubs vote not what they say since those things don’t always agree.
