10. That's the cancer that took my sister's MIL, in about three months.

She was so happy to finally be able to retire, she wanted to write books, travel and just enjoy her life and her family. Always upbeat and laughing, never let it get her down (publicly, at least). I didn't know her well, but she was a wonderful example of taking death with grace.

All we can do is hope other countries can carry on the research and advancements in science, medicine and technology, while America returns to those great Dark Ages, where the feudal lords had it all and the serfs died in silence, if they knew what was good for them.
