17. Hegseth is as arrogant as they come.

And dumb as a rock. That is a truly bad combination. He gets asked a straightforward question and, of course, he is caught flat footed. So what does he do? He flashes a smile, showing all of his pearly teeth, and starts giving his word salad answer. He says nothing but smugly smiles like he just gave the Gettysburg address. Dumb and arrogant. But boy is he impressed with his own abilities.

This guy is a nuisance. But he is dangerous, too. Lots of MAGAs will fall for his nonanswer. Anyone with a few brain cells to rub together can see through him. But then the MAGAs don’t have the required brain wattage to add 2+2.
