06/14/2025: The Day The American Eagle Decided It Would Rather Be A PEACOCK. [View all]

It's very sad when the President of the United States doesn't think his own country is 'showy' enough for his tastes. He'd rather be like the Soviet Union, or North Korea, with tacky, tawdry shows of wealth and power. Spray painting the Oval Office with tacky gold leaf, until it looks as much like Putin's Kremlin as possible. And, in a fit of RED SQUARE ENVY, insisting that legions of tanks, rocket launchers, and troops goose step past the White House, while The Dear Leader salutes for the cameras. A United States President actually TRYING to look more like Benito Mussolini, or Joseph Stalin, or Kim Il-Sung. Complaining that HIS office should have the most gold leaf, and HIS airplane should be the biggest, and HIS parade should be the most expensive.

I've got news for him. He's obviously unaware of the fact that North Korea, and the USSR used to put on those military parades to compensate for their WEAKNESS and INSECURITY. They used to drive EMPTY missile launchers past Red Square. And fly the planes around in circles, changing the tail numbers every time, to make it look like there were more of them than there actually were. Bluster, like a cat, puffing itself up to look bigger to its enemies.

The United States never felt the need to join THAT club, until now. There's only one word for this. PATHETIC.
