2. People need to stop getting their news from social media

I am not sure I have seen so much clickbait surrounding a ruling in my life. Reddit is almost entirely unreadable right now. People just going off about a decision they have not read and clearly do not understand.

It’s like people sit around all day waiting for social media to instruct them how to think and feel about the issues of the day, and then they go out into the world and repeat what they’ve been told to repeat.

Yes, we worry about the courts and Trump eroding democracy - but plenty of citizens seem very willing to give it a push by willfully remaining misinformed at all times.
