If they have a FAX machine, send a FAX. If email, send email. Their self-imposed deadline is fast approaching, so snail mail is probably too slow.

Just a thought.

And of course, make calls, although I'm not sure if "47-style" in voice communication is doable (I know I'd have a hard time with it).
