Regarding the Medicare/Medicaid fiasco, barring the Democrats winning both houses in the midterms, the only hope may be the Nursing Home lobby. If people aren't on Medicare/Medicaid, then there is no money for them.
Also, hospitals, medical centers, and corporate doctors groups receive a high percentage of payments from these two programs, so you may see lobbying from them.
Other than that, I think it's gonna be up to us to get out and vote in such huge numbers, they can't 'fix' the vote counts.
