17. Perhaps you have forgotten about the laws of thermodynamics and the environmental consequences of material...

....demands, like say, cobalt slavery, admittedly more of an ethical issue than an environmental issue, although digging cobalt isn't "green."

I covered the topic of thermodynamics of unsustainable battery garbage here: Pesky Thermodynamics: The Mathematics of Wasting Energy by Storage in Li Batteries

Wasting energy by storing it isn't "green."

I also covered the cobalt demand that those antinuke assholes in Germany would require to cover an incidence of Dunkelflaute:

The Number of Tesla Powerwalls Required That Would Address the Current German Dunkleflaute Event.

In my position, I often hear from people patting themselves on their backs for their bourgeois aeries removed from the world at large.

I'm unimpressed. We are decades and trillions of dollars into the insane reactionary worship of so called "renewable energy." The results are in. The planetary atmosphere is collapsing at an accelerating rate.

I also cover this pretty regularly: New Weekly CO2 Concentration Record Set at the Mauna Loa Observatory, 430.86 ppm

In my tenure at DU, going back to 2002, listening all the time to how great so called "renewable energy" is, the concentration of the dangerous fossil fuel waste carbon dioxide has risen by 56.80 ppm as of this writing.

That's appalling. The rate of increase is worse than ever.
