Elon Musk is establishing two company towns in Texas: Starbase and Snailbrook. Starbase, formerly Boca Chica Village, is located near SpaceX's launch facility in southern Texas, while Snailbrook is emerging in Bastrop County near Austin, where several of Musk's companies are based. Both towns are designed to house and support Musk's employees and their families, reflecting his vision of creating self-sustaining communities centered around his businesses.
