https://thehill.com/homenews/education/5381348-trump-administration-after-school-funding-summer-programs/More than $6 billion in federal grants for after-school and summer programs, plus English language instruction, adult literacy and more, are being held up so they can be reviewed to ensure the grants align with Trump's priorities. This is funding that had been signed into law by Rump himself and due to be distributed July 1. But the Education Department has now issued a notice that "The Department remains committed to ensuring taxpayer resources are spent in accordance with the President's priorities..." How is this legal?
