Was anyone ever arrested, fined or jailed for violation of the Assault Weapon Ban? [View all]

During its 10 year reign of terror, was a Manufacturer, importer or citizen ever in violation? What happened? Was the punishment severe?

Just wondering if anyone can remember anything about that part of the ban.
