The Big Beautiful Bill vs. the Sermon on the Mount [View all]

I'm not religious at all but I thought it might be interesting to do a comparison, side by side, chart of these two expressions of a philosophy of being/living for people to follow. The Sermon is stated in simple terms and it could be helpful when dealing with the arguments of the religious right who haven't seen their religion vs. their voting habits in this light before.

I grew up in Texas with no religion whatsoever as my parents would have nothing to do with Billy Graham and his ilk. I was never baptized much to the horror of my school friends, one of whom tried to baptize me in my bathroom sink at a sleepover but I was too afraid my mother would walk in on the "baptism" and get really angry, so I remain unbaptized to this day.
