8. I can't quite bring myself to rejoice over this woman's misfortune.

I understand why this guy feels that way, and I don't blame him. He gets no shade from me. He made a hell of a video, and I give him props for that. I'm just having a different kind of emotional reaction myself.

If I thought that woman might learn something from this experience, if I thought it might possibly dawn on her that her boy Donald really does not give a skinny rat's ass what happens to her and people like her (who would do just about anything for him), I'd be very pleased. But I don't see any way that's going to happen, unfortunately.

I think Trump is pure evil, because he knowingly lied to people like her, told them a bunch of scary stories and convinced them that only he could make things better. People like her believed him and actually thought he cared about them, because they didn't have the sense or the critical thinking skills not to. I think she got sold a bill of goods, like too many other people did, but the true evil is the guy who sold it to them.

I don't exactly feel sorry for her, though. I think she's mean and stupid and pathetic, and her hateful reaction to Alligator Auschwitz sounds truly horrifying. I just feel...disgusted by her and by the whole damned situation of this horrendous disaster that was made so much worse than it had to be by the gutting of key federal agencies. I truly fear for what this country may have to go through in the next few months of hurricane season and wildfire season. I dread all the unnecessary death and destruction that may be coming. I hope we can somehow survive as a nation.

I always thought America was better than this. I hope we still can be.
