why these same gun owners who fight against any kind of state record of their gun ownership, so willingly joins the NRA and are therefore put on a list as a gun owner. Particularly when you consider the NRA's close relationship with the Republican party, and it was Republican President George Bush who went door to door in New Orleans and confiscated guns after Katrina.
