205. Actually, I hate the idea of gunmen in schools.

It's the worst idea yet. It once again reinforces the idea that you need violence and weapons in your life. It's downright sick.

Just sick. Pretty soon we will be buying metal detectors to put in the entrances of schools. We have them at the entrances of the courts in LA. Everyone gets pretty hardened to them, but in the end, you don't feel safer, you just feel less free.

The proliferation of guns and security is what is making Americans feel violated, less free.

Guns engenders more guns. The fear that causes people to want armed guards everywhere engenders more fear. The fear and the guns are a vicious cycle that are gradually but with increasing speed are making life in this country an obstacle course.

No. Gunmen in the schools is a horrible idea. The worst yet.
