Garland is bureaucratic by nature. At the time he appointed Jack Smith, I thought and still think he was doing as well as he could. It was immediately after Mr. Smith was appointed that the felon announced he was running again. Perhaps this was anticipated, but the idea he could win was not. I respect others' differing opinions on A.G. Garland.
