and the "Epstein Files" are not, in fact, full of incriminating facts about high-level Democrats.

He also knows that the only person in the world photographed more often with Epstein is Maxwell, and that those pics are all over the internet, and he's egomaniac and knows his association with Epstein 'looks bad' so he wants it to go away. The situation continuing to be 'a thing' simply has no value to him, it's all downside. More so of course if he's guilty of availing himself of Epstein's 'younger side' victims.

Also, we all know his favorite thing in the world is to bash Democrats and call them liars and accuse them of conspiring against him.
