Almost all ex Navy and all they did was discuss politics. Soon as they found out that you don't agree with them. They went out of their way to give every nasty job. They acted and treated people horribly who didn't have their politics so they make them quit. If stand up for yourself was usually met with being called in subordinate and threatened or fired.
