12. Not sure, but I wonder about the island.

It was searched, thoroughly, I imagine, and the evidence inventory shows that there are DVDs and photographs we haven't seen that were impounded and at one time existed in the custody of law enforcement. But the number of videos seized conflicts with rumors that thousands more exist. It's hard to search every nook and cranny of an island. We've all read of cases where police conducted grid searches of a smaller region two or three times, only to return months later and discover something they'd missed.

But it's also very possible those rumors were nothing more than wishful thinking--there's been a lot of that surrounding the Epstein case.

I also think it's possible, maybe even probable, that Epstein destroyed or had destroyed by someone else, quite a lot of material, or maybe had it removed from the country and hidden in a safe deposit box. He was so comfortable with international travel and had to have operatives at least in Europe.

It's frustrating. We might have to live with uncertainty.
