Shock. In the Shock Doctrine, it is clear that chaos IS a plan. They “flood the zone’, overwhelm the opposition, attack on all fronts. Normal sane thinking is to NOT fight on all fronts, to prioritize your battles. But in the Shock Doctrine by Naomi Klein, the author details how a series of shocks was implemented in MANY countries such as Chile and Argentina to throw existing civic structures out, erased expectations, and sap the left and moderates of their energy. Destroying an economy doesn’t make money for the masses or even for all of the rich, but for those in the know, they stand a LOT to gain from advance knowledge of the plan.

Climate. Many of these guys (the TechnoBrats) may be quite knowledgeable of the rate of climate change and the details of its effects on geopolitics, migration, energy consumption, ocean ecosystems, agriculture and societal stability. They know (as Harumph pointed out above) that the consequences may be so large and severe that the masses will eventually demand some protections and some government strategies — and ‘soaking the rich’ would obviously be high on the list.

AI. They attempted to prohibit regulations on AI for 10 years, in the OBBB — to give themselves time to restructure businesses and embed it everywhere. They also know that AI is turning into a tool to fulfill numerous functions now filled by humans, that it will have massive consequences on energy needs, and in their world, a desperate, insecure work force won’t pose as much of a threat individually.

Corporate boards Leonard Leo is using >$1 billion of Barry Said’s money to ensure that corporate boards have the same rightwing consistency as the Supreme Court. Closely aligned activist hedge funds are doing the same thing. That was Leo’s priority because he has essentially “finished the job” on the courts, and well on their way for education — so corporate boards are next. They aren’t rightwing enough, so behind the scenes, they have a strategy to squeeze companies until they replace a critical mass of executives and/or board members with like-minded loyal teammates.

I think they are well-coordinated, and they have a strategy.. Especially in comparison.
