I wrote a poem in a very cold church (where we could see our breath while singing Christmas carols) about the English...

Please wake up the English
They're living in a dream
Asleep in their antique beds
Pondering the Queen.
The dream became a nightmare
And cobwebs filled their heads
Now wood rot and dust prevails
O'er the antique beds
The alarm sounded long ago
But the English slept right through
What they need is a mighty shove
And a cock a doodle doo.

I was so wrong!! Going to the pub after any discomfort or joyous occasion was the best experience of my time there because socializing was just the best. I even ran into Graham Chapman in the pub. Prime Monty Python.

I do blame the same social networking that has plagued us.

Come home!!
