2. Is it really like, super nice in the West Bank and or Gaza?

I so often see talk about building resorts and such like you did here. I don't know anything about the area but when I hear this mentioned I often wonder what's so nice that makes one or both super attractive for this sort of investment? Most time 'high end resorts' have some beautiful natural features like sandy beaches & warm weather/water, beautiful scenic vistas, snow-covered peaks, cool historical significance, those kinds of things.

Corollary to this question is that if it's such prime real estate, how did the Palestinians end up with it? If you look at, say, Native American reservations, lets just say, you don't typically find they are on anything approaching prime real estate. I'm assuming from most of what I read it's only the West Bank that's being spoken of in this regard?
