Though I sure hope people don't say that Sherrod is old and in the way. Or that he needs to step aside and let the new ones take over. 🤔

He is a good man and was a great Senator.

One of his landmark peices of legislation:

WASHINGTON, DC –On Saturday night, the U.S. Senate passed U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown’s (D-Ohio) bipartisan legislation that will ensure that public servants and their families can receive full Social Security benefits after two previous statutes reduced them. Brown’s bill, the Social Security Fairness Act, will repeal the Windfall Elimination Provision (WEP) and the Government Pension Offset (GPO) from the Social Security Act. Both of those statutes significantly reduced benefits for nearly 3 million Americans, including 241,755 Ohioans, many of whom are police officers, firefighters, bus drivers, teachers and state, county and local government workers.
