But "cures" are often short-lived, I hope they maintain their vigilence and are doing some very proactive things to keep her in remission.

Great news that she is currently with "no active disease", but certainly premature to use the word cure. I sure do hope though that time proves his words correct.

Edit: to the OP, great news about the lymphoma, one of the cancers where chemo really can effect a cure, definitely a celebration!
