...that this benefit was going to be available whether Trump's bill was passed or not, and would, in fact, have been available even if VP Harris had been elected. Its existence is unrelated and irrelevant to the existence of any other loan forgiveness programs.

And Trump may well be able to cut this program back, but to end it will take legislation, which wasn't the case with President Biden's programs, as they weren't part of the budget.
