10. ICE and Hamas

We moved from the house we built in rural VA 16 years ago into an apartment in Northern Virginia to "be closer to our children."

I work out in the apartment gym every morning, by myself, turn on CNN. This morning they were showing video of a funeral in Gaza, complete with Hamas fighters escorting the caskets -- dressed in camouflage, Kevlar vests, faces masked -- I thought I was watching an ICE raid.
