Didn't fail to mention LaPierre, another repuke that didn't want to carry a gun
during the VN war.

"Wayne LaPierre, CEO of the National Rifle Association - did not serve (apparently pulled lottery #97 in 1969 as a campus radical at SUNY-Albany, but weaseled out by getting a family doctor to claim he had a nervous disorder)."

I wonder how many of these war weapon fanatics never served, never saw what soldiers witness or learned what can
only be learned on the battlefield or in training.
