Know who you're dealing with [View all]
If it’s from fear, hatred, ignorance, greed, or a combination of all of these really doesn’t matter. We are dealing with people who literally would have their children die before voting for anyone who would save our democracy.
Every level of our government is being destroyed. Someone on Hartmann’s show stated it well today. Think of our democracy as a dam and each government agency or institution that is being gutted or destroyed is like a crack in that dam. We are fast approaching a point where the cracks will be so numerous that the dam is going to break.
Not voting for an extremely intelligent, black woman is literally more important to these people, then saving our government or the lives of their own children. They don’t care what happens to our country as long as we are not being led by a person of color or a woman. That’s who we are dealing with. History has shown us what people are capable of doing.
It is heartening to see that many within the Democratic leadership are starting to get this.
We need everyone in the Democratic Party to realize where we are at as a country right now.
Corey Booker and Gavin Newsom along with JD Pritzker, and others are right! It is time for the Democratic Party to wake up.
