1. The salvation of higher education will be in the smaller, lesser-known colleges and universities

that don't provide fat targets for Trump's extortion. Faculty and students who have been disillusioned by the capitulation and cowardice of the Ivy League schools might start looking elsewhere, and provide and find high-quality education while flying under Trump's radar. I wouldn't give up yet.
